Adolescent Welfare and Development

Psychology can assist adolescents in the transitional stage from childhood to adulthood.  This can be a time of both disorientation and discovery and can cause issues of independence, self-identity, peer pressure, stress and anxiety.

What We Offer

Individual sessions and group counselling to support issues such as:

  • Behavioural difficulties
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Academic achievement
  • Eating disorders
  • Stress and time management
  • Family change and adjustment (e.g., divorce/separation, grief and loss)
  • Conflict resolution
  • Peer pressure, bullying and/or difficulties with social situations
